The Town of Salisbury is served by Salisbury Central School (grades PreK-8) and Housatonic Valley Regional High School (grades 9-12). SCS is open for enrollment to any resident of the Town of Salisbury. HVRHS is a regional high school, serving Salisbury and five surrounding towns.
Salisbury Central School is housed in two buildings found on Lincoln City Road in Lakeville. In 2004 the school enrolled 345 children, of which 229 were PreK-5th grade and 116 in grades 6-8. Housatonic Valley Regional High School serves the six area towns of Salisbury, North Canaan, Falls Village, Sharon, Cornwall and Kent. It is located on Route 7, Warren Turnpike Road,in Falls Village. In addition, Salisbury is fortunate to have several choices in private education: Indian Mountain School IMS enrolls children PreK-5th, at the Town Hill campus on Interlaken Road in Lakeville(day school) and 6th-9th grades at the Indian Mountain campus on Indian Mountain Road in Lakeville (day and resident programs). Also in Lakeville is the Hotchkiss School located at the intersection of Sharon Road and Interlaken Road. Hotchkiss is open to students grades 9-12.
