Permits

Attention all Salisbury resident and business owners. Remember transfer station permits are required for all residents even if using a trash service (hauler). Application form will be processed at the Town Hall and the sticker will be attached to your vehicle at the Transfer Station. From July 2016- June 30, 2017 the first sticker per residence is $90.00, additional stickers for the same residence are $40.00. All payment must be paid by cash or checks, no credit cards excepted.

 

The Town pays $69/ton to dispose of garbage in Hartford, and that does NOT include the trucking! Increased recycling and backyard composting are excellent ways to reduce our disposal costs. Remember to recycle your metal, glass, #1 & #2 plastic food and beverage containers, cardboard, cereal boxes, newspapers, magazines, office papers, junk mail, clothing and fabric.
