Salisbury Family Services is preparing for its’ annual holiday giving programs. Turkeys will be provided at Thanksgiving, grocery gift cards and gifts for children will be provided at Christmas. Families who are in need should contact Patrice McGrath, at 860-435-5187.

Connecticut Energy Assistance Available Fuel assistance applications are currently being taken for fuel deliveries made between November 1, 2024 and April 1, 2025. Households heating with electric and households with heat included in rent are also eligible to apply. You may qualify for fuel assistance if your income is under –

Salisbury Family Services was founded in 1930 to serve all of the communities of Salisbury including Salisbury, Lakeville, Amesville, Lime Rock, and Taconic.

SFS provides a social worker for direct case management to individuals and families. Provisions are made for crisis intervention, home visits, information and referrals to various state and local service organizations. In addition to day-to-day assistance, SFS offers transportation assistance, housing and fuel assistance, day care and related programs, educational assistance, summertime camp scholarships, and the distribution of holiday food and gifts.
